90:1 주여, 당신은 대대손손 우리의 피난처,

90:1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.

90:2 산들이 생기기 전, 땅과 세상이 태어나기 전, 한 옛날부터 영원히 당신은 하나님,

90:2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

90:3 사람을 먼지로 돌아 가게 하시며 "사람아, 돌아 가라" 하시오니

90:3 You turn men back to dust, saying, "Return to dust, O sons of men."

90:4 당신 앞에서는 천 년도 하루와 같아 지나간 어제 같고 깨어 있는 밤과 같사오니

90:4 For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.

90:5 당신께서 휩쓸어 가시면 인생은 한바탕 꿈이요, 아침에 돋아나는 풀잎이옵니다.

90:5 You sweep men away in the sleep of death; they are like the new grass of the morning--

90:6 아침에는 싱싱하게 피었다가도 저녁이면 시들어 마르는 풀잎이옵니다.

90:6 though in the morning it springs up new, by evening it is dry and withered.

90:7 홧김을 한번 뿜으시면 우리는 없어져 버리고 노기를 한번 띠시면 우리는 소스라칩니다.

90:7 We are consumed by your anger and terrified by your indignation.

90:8 우리의 잘못을 당신 앞에 놓으시니 우리의 숨은 죄 당신 앞에 낱낱이 드러납니다.

90:8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.

90:9 당신 진노의 열기에 우리의 일생은 사그라지고 우리의 세월은 한숨처럼 스러지고 맙니 다.

90:9 All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan.

90:10 인생은 기껏해야 칠십 년, 근력이 좋아야 팔십 년, 그나마 거의가 고생과 슬픔에 젖은 것, 날아 가듯 덧없이 사라지고 맙니다.

90:10 The length of our days is seventy years--or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away

90:11 누가 당신 분노의 힘을 알 수 있으며, 당신 노기의 그 두려움을 알겠습니까?

90:11 Who knows the power of your anger? For your wrath is as great as the fear that is due you.

90:12 우리에게 날 수를 제대로 헤아릴 줄 알게 하시고 우리의 마음이 지혜에 이르게 하소서.

90:12 Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

90:13 야훼여, 돌이키소서. 언제까지 노하시렵니까? 당신의 종들을 불쌍히 여기소서

90:13 Relent, O LORD! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants.

90:14 동틀녘에 당신의 사랑으로 한껏 배불러 평생토록 기뻐 뛰며 노래하게 하소서.

90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

90:15 우리가 고생한 그 날 수만큼, 어려움을 당한 그 햇수만큼 즐거움을 누리게 하소서.

90:15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.

90:16 당신의 종들에게 당신께서 이루신 일들을, 또 그 후손들에게 당신의 영광을 드러내소서.

90:16 May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.

90:17 주, 우리 하나님, 우리를 어여삐 여기시어 우리 손이 하는 일 잘 되게 하소서. 우리 손이 하는 일 잘 되게 하소서.우리 손이 하는 일 잘 되게 하소서.

90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us--yes, establish the work of our hands.
